Dr. Steinberger is a comprehensive ophthalmologist who provides expert care for a wide range of eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, and upper eyelid heaviness. Dr. Steinberger believes in taking time to listen, explain, and work closely with each patient to create a personalized care plan. She completed medical school at Tufts University School of Medicine and advanced residency training at the Dean McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma City. In addition, she holds a Master’s degree in Health and Science Journalism from Northwestern University, which helps her communicate clearly and make sure patients fully understand their treatment options. Outside of her clinical work, Dr. Steinberger enjoys mentoring young doctors and staying involved in efforts to improve medical education and patient care. She also participates in research to help develop better treatments and surgical techniques. Her goal is to help every patient feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their eye care.
Raised in Upstate South Carolina, Dr. Vadoothker is a board certified ophthalmologist and cornea specialist. She completed her ophthalmology residency at the Krieger Eye Institute at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD and her cornea fellowship at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Prior to moving here Dr. Vadoothker also practiced in San Diego, CA. Dr. Vadoothker also holds a Bachelor of Science and Masters in Biomedical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and the University of Pennsylvania.
